As we all know, the UK is in some form of recession.
Most people and companies, are looking to cut some costs where possible.
To do our bit, we have launched a NEW service called STANDBY freight.
It’s designed for freight that has a little longer to move, where cost is more important than speed.
Here’s how it works:
By your freight being on STANDBY, we can allocate the closest and most cost effective vehicle, and pass on ALL that saving to YOU.
Any size vehicle from a Van to an Artic
You need to give us a Two-day window to COLLECT your goods, and have them available between 08:00 – 16:00
We can’t accommodate booking in times for this service
Your collection won’t exceed 2 days
The delivery may be on day 3 (or sooner)
Your goods may collect and deliver at any time within the above window
This service does not include network or groupage cargo
We are unable to offer specialised equipment such as a Moffetts and Hiabs etc with this service
This only applies to UK transport
Don’t worry, if your goods are more urgent than that, we still have our usual service, which is tailor made to your individual requirements.
We call that PRIORITY freight.
